Snowdonia – the forgotten pass (day 3)

For few minutes the rising sun kissed the morning landscape and disappeared behind thick curtain of clouds…

…in the middle of strange northern desert I was grabbed by creepy feeling of infinity…

…herds of sheep were spreading noises of ringing bells across the valley…

…the sky got darker and the first drops of rain were chasing me as I was climbing uphill through an old mountain pass…

…every time I stopped, the rain caught me up…

…the road had no name or number, only a small sign for tourists congratulates me for climbing up on the top of the highest pass in Wales, where 100 years ago Aston Martin tested their first models…

…hours and hours of riding through the grassy desert, forgotten roads of Snowdonia…

…surrounded by cold northern winds soaked with salty smells of the sea and my own infinity…

…I found civilisation after 5 hours near lake of Bala…

…lonely forgotten roads turned into B-roads, our speed increased and far behind us we left the rainy clouds, filled the tank for £10…

…and after just one break by the fields…

…and after 12 hours ride we made it all the way back to London, exhausted and happy.
