Brecon Beacons (part 1)

It was meant to be a tropical weekend in London, so I decided to get away from the city as far as I can. Easy task when you have a red scooter to take you somewhere nice. The destination this time was Wales, over 200 miles long journey to Brecon Beacons National Park…

…heading north-west from London, I quickly escaped the city traffic chaos…

…roaming along the country roads, surrounded by the smell of wheat and suncream…

…the overheated skies shaped into the most amazing cloud formations…

…soon, I found myself in a fairytale country…

…gentle curves of the fields creating the most relaxing spectacle…

…roofs and towers of picturesque villages adding to the scenery down in the valleys…

…I was passing Cotswolds, the area typical for its old stone villages…

…I also met a new friend who really liked the red colour of my Vespa…

…the world got darker and darker as the night approached me…

…and when I finally entered the Brecon Beacons, all I could see was the few feet of light in front of me in the middle of haunting pitch-black forest…

…it was a warm night and it would be a shame to hide in some hotel room. I stopped by a lake, having no idea what was hidden in the darkness around me, took out my sleeping bag, laid on the soft grass and tired from the long ride, quickly fell into the world of crazy dreams.
